2012–2016
Planting the Seed of Change
Our journey began in 2012 with a small group of devotees and environmental enthusiasts dedicated to preserving the sanctity of Sri Nabadwip Dham. What started as a simple cleaning initiative soon gained momentum, inspiring more volunteers to join. By 2014, we expanded our efforts through awareness campaigns in schools and the local community. In 2016, we officially launched tree plantation drives, aiming to restore greenery and protect the environment of the Holy Dham.
2017–2020
Building a Sustainable Framework
From 2017, our focus shifted to structured waste management. We introduced the Mayapur Clean & Green Recycling BIN at key locations, promoting proper waste segregation and recycling. By 2018, we expanded into e-waste collection, ensuring responsible disposal through certified partners. In 2020, we took a major step forward by employing local workers for cleaning, gardening, and waste management, providing stable job opportunities while enhancing our environmental impact.
2021–2023
Strengthening Community Engagement
During this period, we expanded our collaborations with local schools, temples, and environmental groups. New initiatives such as organic farming, composting, and upcycling workshops helped engage the community in sustainable practices. Our cleaning services extended to temples, schools, homes, and public areas, creating a significant positive impact on the local environment.
2024 & Beyond
A Vision for the Future
As we step into 2024, we are working towards larger, long-term goals. Our plans include:
Establishing an Eco Village Model to demonstrate sustainable living.
Setting up a recycling plant to process non-compostable waste.
Advocating for the recognition of Sri Nabadwip Dham as a cultural heritage site.
Strengthening partnerships with local, state, and national governments to scale our impact.

Without Mayapur Clean & Green doing the much needed and wonderful work they are doing, the air quality would have continued to get worse, not better.
 
We arrived in June 2022, and winter 2022, winter 2023 was really quite challenging for me respiratory wise. I had a lot of issues, and we invested in 2 IQ Air machines for our home.
This year 2024-25 has been significantly better, and for that, I'm eternally grateful.
Although, there is a lot of room for improvement with Mayapur’s air quality, Mayapur Clean & Green is spearheading cleaner air for all of us. I'm sure, not just myself, but other residents of Mayapur are also eternally grateful for the service that Mayapur Clean & Green is doing.

We have focussed on these Immediate tasks to promote healthy activities for better life and livelihood of people at different sections of society working hand in hand
Open a community service store to promote our social good activities mentioned.
Start the production of crafts with recyclable materials.
Buy land to develop a Villa, an exemplary model of simple life respectful of the Holy Dham.
Promote the declaration of Sri Nabadwip Dham as a cultural heritage of humanity.
Be able to sponsor Visas for our team members.
Create ties of cooperation with local, state and national governments to:
– Installation of compostable toilets connected to the sustainable production of energy and biogas.
MID TERM GOALS
We want to contribute a constructive larger scale impact on society and people building on our short term as achievements.
Perfect large-scale compost and natural fertilizer production methods that help reduce the
use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
Developing a recycling plant for non-compostable solid waste.
Producing fuel from recyclable plastic.
Create a multidisciplinary workshop to promote local artisan production.

Development and consolidation of an Ecological Village Model of simple and respectful
